What to Expect on the Signature Tour
Our flagship experience is a 90-minute Tequila Tasting and Raicilla Distillery Tour with a full farm-to-table meal, offered Tuesday through Sunday at 5:00 PM. You begin with a welcome cocktail at our open-air bar, then walk the property and our on-site raicilla distillery to learn how agave, fermentation, and place shape every bottle. The tour includes a guided tequila and raicilla tasting with cooked agave and chef-prepared pairings, two Cachasol cocktails, a full meal from our open-fire kitchen, and gratuity. Come hungry. Many guests end up talking about the food as much as the tequila.

The flagship Tequila Tasting and Raicilla Distillery Tour is 1,800 MXN per adult (about 90 USD), Tuesday through Sunday at 5:00 PM. Youth aged 6 to 17 and non-drinking guests are 1,000 MXN, and children under 5 are free. The full meal, tastings, two cocktails, and gratuity are all included. If you prefer a shorter visit, our one-hour Tequila Tasting is 800 MXN per adult (about 40 USD) at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Reservations are recommended, and last-minute bookings are welcome whenever we can accommodate them.
Your Master Distiller
Cachasol tequila is crafted by Jaime Villalobos Sauza, a fifth-generation member of the Sauza tequila family and our master distiller at Hacienda de Oro, NOM 1522. Our tequila begins with agave grown in coastal Nayarit, then uses two distinct fermentations: a wild, open-air fermentation and an IPA-yeast fermentation inspired by craft beer. Together they bring out bright citrus and the true character of the agave. The result has earned Gold and Double Gold honors at major international competitions, and Men's Journal named Cachasol Best Everyday, Best Small-Batch, and Best Savory Tequila in its 2026 Spirits Awards.
