Cachasol's two-hour Culinary & Mixology Workshop starts behind the bar. At the Cachashade Bar, our hand-built open-air bar beneath a guamuchil tree, you'll gather fresh herbs from the garden and make two Cachasol tequila cocktails with real technique: balance, acidity, sweetness, aroma, and the small choices that separate a decent drink from one you remember. Then the workshop moves to the Comedor, our farm kitchen, for guacamole en molcajete, tortillas on the comal, and a sit-down of your own quesadillas with rice, beans, and salsas. Daily at 2:30 PM. 2,150 MXN adult, 1,800 MXN youth and non-drinking adults with a full mocktail track, kids under 5 free.
One workshop, two crafts: cocktails at the Cachashade Bar and cooking at the Comedor. This page and our cooking class page describe the same workshop, so book from either.
2 Hours | Daily at 2:30 PM | 2,150 MXN Adult | The Cachashade Bar & Comedor
The Cachashade Bar sits beneath a guamuchil tree, built by hand and open to the air. After a welcome agua fresca and a short garden walk to gather fresh herbs, you'll step behind it and make two Cachasol tequila cocktails yourself. We talk through balance, acid, sweetness, and aroma. Nothing stiff. No cocktail theater. Just real drinks made well, by you.
Cachasol Tequila sits at the center of it: 100% Nayarit-grown agave, IPA-inspired fermentation, additive-free, with bright citrus, floral notes, and real agave character. Men's Journal named Cachasol among 2026's Best Small-Batch Tequilas and Best Everyday Tequilas, and this workshop is a hands-on look at how those flavors work with fresh ingredients. Adults also taste our estate-made raicilla, produced right here on the farm using ancestral techniques.
The second half moves to the Comedor, our open-air farm kitchen. Guacamole en molcajete, tortillas on the comal (harder than it looks, and better for it), and a sit-down of your own quesadillas with rice, beans, and salsas.
Prefer the food-first telling? Read the workshop from the kitchen side.
The mocktail track is a real part of the workshop, not an afterthought. Youth ages 6 to 17 and adults who prefer not to drink book at 1,800 MXN, build mocktails with the same fresh ingredients and technique, and take part in everything at the Comedor. Alcohol is served only to guests 18 and older. Kids under 5 join free.
Daily at 2:30 PM. 2 hours. Adult (18+): 2,150 MXN. Youth 6 to 17 and non-drinking adults: 1,800 MXN. Kids under 5: free. Book at least 3 hours before start time.

"A must-experience in Sayulita"
This farm and distillery is a must if you are anywhere near the PV area. From the start, it is a magical experience on a serene agave farm with a charming outdoor bar and welcome cocktails. Our guide gave a wonderful and informational tour of the land and processes for each type of liquor they produce. The farm is gorgeous, with a small pond and various plants. Then the lunch was just phenomenal, prepared in the moment on the comal. Overall just a lovely experience. Can't recommend it highly enough!
"Perfect day"
Every single aspect of the experience was fantastic. The people, the drinks, the food, the scenery - all of it was amazing. Cristian was very kind and answered all of our questions and was an amazing host. 10/10 excursion, a must do.
"Relaxed and enlightening. A really great experience"
A truly magical experience that I would highly recommend. The location is perfect in the evening sun with a lovely cool breeze that blows through the valley straight from the sea. The team went above and beyond to make all of our party feel welcomed and comfortable. Beautifully crafted welcome drinks, a fascinating and interactive tour by the owner himself and a tasty food and tequila pairing meal to round it all off. It has been a highlight of our trip to Mexico.
